Harlan Davis buys The Garden Furniture Company. Located initially at Tucson Boulevard and Speedway, the company offers the standard outdoor fixtures of the day, such as aluminum chairs, redwood tables and swing sets. 1959. Fire destroys The Garden Furniture Company and Harlan starts over from scratch, creating a new building and forging ahead into the future with a new business and a new name, House 'n Garden Furniture Co, Inc. 1965. Six years brings great success! House'n Garden relocates to Broadway and Columbus where they continue to grow their business and build a reputation as the best outdoor furniture business in Tucson when it comes to quality and service. 1995. Once more, House 'n Garden goes on the move, this time heading to their current location at 250 E. Wetmore. To this day, Harlan's daughter, Joanne Tudor and her husband, Tom, handle the day to day operation of House'n Garden. Their commitment to providing Tucson with quality remains just as strong as it was when Harlan took on the business in 1951.
